I downloaded msxml.msi service pack 3 for Age of Mythology. And it still pops up the message 'msxml 4.0 is not installed correctly.'

Msxml 4.0 Age Of Mythology

A guy had helped me earlier and told me to download msxml.msi service pack 3 and run it, so i did and it still doesntwork. When i open AOM properties it says'C:Program FilesMicrosoft Gamesaom.exe' is not a right target. But a few minutes later it didnt say any thing. Am i suppost to download msxmlcab.exe sp3 as well. I have tried everything on the internet and i wantto get it fixed. If you can find an answer that would help a lot.

Full error message:'Msxml 4.0 is not installed correctly. It is required to run the game.' Suddenly got this error for the first time ever. Only thing that has changed as far as im aware is that i just put in a new router because we switched internet provider- no idea how this error message could be related though.Anyway i tried reinstalling aoe- same error comes up.I then search a bit on the internet and come across this-like my problem. Method 1 doesn't work. Method 2 doesn't work.

I get started on method 3 but hit an unbreakable wall when i try to copy into system 32:error copying file or folder- access is denied.I have tried properties-security-advanced-change permissions etc. But can't change (tick/untick) any of the permission boxes. Presumably full power is with taking control of the file?I am an administrator. Somewhere it was suggested i need to boot in safe mode to alter these settings. Doesn't work either.This is starting to piss me off a bit to say the least, anyone had this problem before?
